Welcome to Mechanicsville Elementary School, located in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Established in 1964, Mechanicsville Elementary School has a proud, time-honored tradition of excellence. Our 600 students, affectionately known as “Caring Cardinals,” comprise three preschool programs and kindergarten through fifth-grade classes. Approximately 100 staff members work together to inspire greatness in all of the students we serve.
